SINOPSIS Asahinagu bercerita tentang kehidupan sekolah. Film ini mengisahkan sekelompok remaja yang berpusat pada aktivitas klub di sekolahnya, klub naginata. Tokoh utama Asahi Tojima (Nishino) tidak punya minat dalam bidang olahraga karena fisiknya yang tidak mendukung. Saat baru masuk SMA Futatsuzaka, ia bertemu dengan kakak kelasnya Maharu Miyaji (Mai Shiraishi), yang sangat jago di klub Naginata.
