A string can contain either a combination of one byte (ASCII) or two byte characters (Unicode). The chinese characters are unicode. There is a problem inside the iTextSharp library/namespace. You probably have a byte[] and need to use Encoding.Unicode instead of one of the other encoding methods (ASCII, UTF7, UTF8). The string class has a private property for each character that indicates if the character is one or two bytes.

The encoding method sets the private property to either one or two bytes. Usually in a document class there needs to be a style for each type of character. A style for unicode character I think wil be needed, but I'm not sure because I'm not familar with your pdf namespace library.

If two users are online and one user modify the values, will the second user will get this modification or not. What are those settings by which we can allow and disallow to get this modification to specified or all user. Hope you got my question.
